my mom was one of the first people in the neighborhood to get a microwave a good 20 years ago, and she once cooked a whole turkey in the microwave.

just because you CAN do something doesnt mean you SHOULD.

I'm assuming you get Everyday Food because you subscribe to Martha's OTHER mag. Ok, your wife, maybe? (Why would I know this?)

my wife bought a copy of rachel's mag and i spotted it nexta the crappa.

i held it up and said "w/t/f is THIS doing in the house?!?!?!" and she told me that my niece was in an ad on one of the pages. ok. so. well, that's ok.

my niece makes more than all of us put together. she rode a tricycle in an insurance commercial once, and when the ad wet national, she basically got her college paid for. meanwhile i'm bustin my ass in my basement tryna make a livin. hahaha

    i wish i were a photogenic 10 year old.

Everyday Food is kinda like a semi-homemade cooking mag. I think it would be good for someone learning to cook. But I've looked at the rib recipe and am intrigued. What would ribs nuked for 20-25 minutes taste like? I'd guess rubber bands (with 5 spice powder). It's almost worth cutting a few off the next rack I cook just to find out.

i swear to jeezus, i don't believe there has ever been anythin i have nuked over 5 minutes, let alone 25 minutes. holy crap.

i would pay good money to watch rachel ray in a topless slap-fight with emeril.
i think emeril actually has bigger knobs. and that's saying somethin.

Your right the wife subscribes to MSL. I think this was our last free copy. I didn't find one recipe in the Everday Living that looked worth cooking.
