I know a lot of us here grow our own food. My garden has exploded in growth this last week. -RP

My wife and I have decided that we can't have plants. Anything that comes inside or that we try to grow ends up dying.

LOL mine is still sitting in the green house flats, not cause I'm lazy but we are still at frost risk. The daffodil's and tulips are just getting done blooming and the leaves on the tress are starting to take a leaf shape instead of just a tiny green fuzz! we have not even done a full cut on the grass yet.
But that part is fine! -
Much larger and I have 4 earth boxs now. Tomatoes, melons, peppers, peas and corn growing now.

I'm jealous.....I won't be able to plant for a week or so at least. Rule of thumb is, when the snow on the mountain is gone, it's planting time.
Here is what it looked like last year.
While I'm waiting on planting, I practiced my Car Wash Mike Ribs.

Nice looking garden - we are a long ways away from that.
For Mother Day, I decided to make some planter boxes & hanging pots. I went way, way overboard with that project, but I am almost done with the flower side of it all.
From some posts I decided to try some, rather. one earthbox, and then another planter box about the same size as the earthbox. Seems like the earth box is expensive for the vegi yield.
Then I decided to do a few hanging plant a vegie pot. One is a hanging strawberrie planter and another is my Salsa Planter. I put 3 potato plants, 4 jalaheno, 3 serrano, 2 red pepper, 1 chocolate pepper and 2 green peppers. Put a couple of flowers in there for color. If this works out it will be kind of a fun mix.
I will get some pictures up when there is a little more growth.

Mine isn't much worth any photos right now, but I have my jalapenos, poblanos, bells, romas and crooknecks in.
The herb container garden is flourishing - sage, rosemary, parsley, cilantro, basil, oregano, thyme, and chives. -
not well yet un seasonably cold and damp here in south east pa
nothing picture worthy except the iris. -
But its hard to imagine it cold anywhere when its 105 degrees outside. -RP

Not early for here but got a late start. This is my first attempt at veggies. Have Roma & big boy tomatoes, jalapeno peppers and romaine going.
The small garden between the gardenia and lei plant with a couple pineapple plants to the left.
First mango's ever (wife started from seed in the kitchen 5 years ago) planted by the jasmine.
some more veggies in the window and tomatoes that Buddy might eat or crush. also the sole surviving banana tree. ripped out the other ten last winter
