Shrimp Pizza Tonight - Fantastic

Tonight, just had to try the shrimp & mushroom pizza that was posted about 1-2 weeks ago. Got my juices going.
1. Prepared, slid onto the Super-Peel ( I love this thing.)

2. Slid onto the pizza stone, temp @ 500-525

3. Done in about 9 min. ready to bring this one in, and cook the second one.

4. Ready to slice

5. Won't last much longer. This one was my best effort yet.

The shrimp was cut up into small pieces, and cooked perfectly. This one's definitely a keeper.

I'll bet that was GOOD! Pizza is about my favorite fix on the BGE. Looks yummy.

Like I said, this one was my best ever. Couldn't find anything wrong with it.

I know it tasted as good as it looked and it looked great.
It is one of my favorites -
Nicely done, Mike! Just reminded me of the Pizza Village Landry Special pizza (which has shrimp on it...)
Thanks! -
Looks great Mike...I LOVE pizza on the egg and have tried a 'bunch' of different ingredients.. but just CANNOT bring myself to do a seafood pizza...are they really that good??...
-
Oh yeah,
But you have to like the ingredients. If you like shrimp, you'll love it on pizza. Or any other seafood. My wife wrinkled her nose when I told her we were going to try shrimp on a pizza. Loves shrimp, but didn't think she would like it with melted cheese. She loved it! Give it a try, what's to lose? -
That was me about two weeks ago.I had called the wife and asked her what she wanted for dinner shrimp or pizza? So I put them together.Did on a 4 1/2 inch raised rack with stone on top at 500 for ten minutes

I am forever in your debt. Thanks for the great idea.

Glad you enjoyed it.Sorry that I forgot to mention your good looking pie.

Looks great!
A seafood pizza is on my short list to try. The only thing that I am cautious about is the pizza sauce. I had a seafood pizza at Uno's several years ago (they no longer have it on their menu) and they used a butter/garlic based pizza sauce. I'm going to look to see if I can find a similar type of pizza sauce recipe on the internet and give that a shot. -
How do you get the top of the crust so nicely cooked?
