I made the crab stuffed bacon wrapped shrimp. They were OK. Everyone prefered my ABTs. So I won't be making the stuffed shrimp any time soon. Below are some pictures.

Some of the shrimp.

OK...this sounds like something I would make. Questions: #1...why precook the crabmeat? #2Did you parfry the bacon? #3I know that shrimp only takes little time to cook...Bacon much longer....how long did you cook it? and was the shrimp tough?
Looks yummy.....why wouldn't you do it again?

I hope you enjoy them more than I did. Don't get me wrong, they were good but ABTs are 100 times better.

Wow! That's a lot of questions. I need anohter beer before I can answer all these. ;) ... gulp, gulp, gulp.. OK, I'm ready...

    1. pre-cook crab? I followed the recipe that said to sautee crab meat, olive oil, salt, pepper and lemon juice. I added some seafood seasoning. If I were to do this again, I may add something to the crab meat for a little crunch (diced celery or diced water chestnuts).
    2. parfry bacon? No.
    3. how long cook? until the bacon was crispy. My guess would be about 20-25 minutes.
    4. tough shrimp? No
    5. Why wouldn't I do this again? They were yummy but not "out of this world" yummy. I think ABTs are 100 times better (and cheaper to make).

I used the Theo and Rita Bacon Wrapped, Crab Stuffed, Shrimp recipe. I can't find a link to it but if you search, I'm sure you can find it. If not, send me an email and I'll get it to you.

    Cheers,
