Ping: fire starter packs WHERE ARE U?
RRP
Posts: 26,455
I can't believe it! Today I went shopping as I needed to pick up some fire starter packs or Webber cubes. Well, I struck out at:
Wal Mart
ACE
Home Depot
Lowes
Kroger
Only two places had anything other than "charcoal lighter fluid" and both of those products were way over priced junk! All of these places seem to be stocked for the new season. Anybody else experience this type of shortage? Could it be a fuel cost related item? I tried the napkin and oil last nite but I like the packets or cubes far better!

I looked for some last weekend at Lowe's and Walmart. Couldn't find anything. I pulled the 'ol weed burner out of the shed. Pyromania is back!!!

Memorial day is May 26th this year and their stock has not come in yet.How many Wal Mart customers are grilling in April?Seems like it is time for you to spread a little evoo over some paper towels and get things going.Better yet take a trip down to Harbor Freight and buy yourself a weed burner.

Did you look for the firestarters in the camping department in Wal-Mart? That's where I always find mine.

I have a about 8 poxes I have yet to use since I broke down and bought my MAPP torch. I'd offer to send you some, but it might be the year 2525 before I managed to actually do that :woohoo:
Ohhh wait I did use a couple because my torch was about to breathe it's last..
