Was jus chillin today recovering from Easter food and decided to use up some stuff...started with a pot of BBQ-Apple Baked Beans...

if you havent tried these you gotta...then throw away all the rest of your baked bean recipes!!.. :woohoo: :woohoo:

Had some Italian Sausage leftover from the weekend and decided to make a 'Giada' fatty with smoked pepper jack cheese, pepperoni, and john henry's jalapeno rub...made this a slide show..hope it works.. :unsure: click on the small pic to see the show...

WOW - I have yet to run down the Fatty path, but I think I'm going to start with that one! Fantastic looking, and quite sure there's not a carnivore on the planet that would pass up a bite! Thanks for sharing!

Never thought about pepperoni with my Giada Fatties. Homemade Italian sausage and hot pepper cheese.

I will wait on throwing the bean recipe out.

heh..u better not throw that bean recipe out Mike...you wont ever need another one once you try it...I'm gonna try one thing different next time I make them..I'm not gonna add the pie filling until the last 30 mins..then give em a final stir and add the pie filling on top of the beans with a lil cinnamon and let em bake like that for 1/2 hour or so...otherwise absolutely great way to use up some butt or beef leftovers...and the pepperoni in the Giada fatty was great..you should try it...course anything Giada is usually pretty good :woohoo: :woohoo: ..
and the JH Jalapeno rub fit real nice too

I have a competition coming up. I will be writng stuff down this time. Haven't for the last 20 years. :ohmy:

Good to see I'm not the only one that makes a mess doing those beans. They sure are tasty though. I like to hit the apples with a stick blender for a few pulses to chop them a bit and distribute them in the beans a little more.

Thanks ILL!..actually I had a bit of the fatty for an appetizer this afternoon..then to go w/the beans I made spicy shrimp (AZRPs) and ribeye kabobs..was good eatin..how the hell am I gonna ever lose any weight!?!...heh...
