ABT's & Neufchatel?

Yo all - here in SW MO and drying out from the bloody storms... My egg was drenched on the inside. Took a while, but she's fired up now and slow roasting it to dry it out.

Going to do some ABT's - can I use Neufchatel cheese (low fat cream cheese) - or will it melt too much?

Neufchatel is just another form of Cream cheese. You can use it.

Know what you mean about drying out! I'm down on Table Rock and it is crazy high. Came up nearly 14 feet in 3 days.... On topic, neufchatel works great in ABT's, you can also use turkey bacon if you are trying to cut the fat some. They are a very flexible and tasty treat, you can mix in pretty much whatever flavors you want into the peppers.

We've had enough snow and ice, and now rain for a while! I'm just south of Kimberling City.

NO FREAKING KIDDING! How many times this year has it been 70' at lunch and snowing by the time I'm off of work? Yikes. I'm ready for spring. Oh - and don't forget the tornadoes. Yup. Ready for Spring.

I heard there is a good seafood shop down there in Kimberling City - is that right?
