Just bought my honey an Extra Large Green Egg. He is out on the patio unpacking. You would think it was Christmas. Haven't seen him this happy in awhile. My question is. Does it not come with any legs? He and our son are going to make a stand for it but until it's done we should have legs, don't you think?

Randy ,
You are one fine wifie! The egg will change your lives. But there's a new forum that you should use. Just scroll up and click on the link to get there. You'll get lots of responses there. They can see your post, but you can't see theirs from here.[p]Egg Legs? There's all kinds of solutions...[p]Start here:

Randy,[p]The BGE comes with three small “feet” that fit under the edge of the Egg.
One of the accessories you can buy is called a nest that raises the Egg up to a more convenient height. You can see a picture of a large Egg in a nest here:

Assembly:
Pretty straight forward and obvious.[p]Make sure the draft opening in the fire box lines up with the draft door in the shell.[p]The fire grid goes in with the large side of the holes on the bottom.[p]Tighten the band bolts until they bend.[p]Do the dollar bill check before you fire it up:
. . Place a dollar bill across the felt gasket, close the dome, and pull the dollar out. Repeat this all the way around the perimeter of the Egg. If the dollar ‘slides right out’, then the dome fit is off and needs to be adjusted.[p]Don’t hesitate to post any questions that come up on the forum. There is a learning curve with the Egg, but it is an easy one that becomes almost a non-item with the help of forum members.
