I always see these huge folded sheets of pork skins selling for under 3 bucks, but always pass them up as I dont have any ideas what to use 'em for.
How do u folks use them?

I've never made any, Homemade Pork Rinds.

They are called chicharones in mexico and very good, but the deep frying is not for the egg.

Various oriental cultures use the skin in many different ways. Here is one link.

Heya Todd,
I my yout down in NC we used to have pig pickins in the summer. Best part I thought was the skin. I've always been a butt man but those picnic shoulders have something on the butt and that is SKIN. Pick some up next time you do pulled pork and drap it over the butts or put it on the grid around the butts if you like or under them. It'll probably get done sooner not being connected to the meat but you'll have some crunchy chewy goodness your cardiologist will thank you for.
