OK I had such good luck last night with the mini roll I decided to do a big'un for desert and breakfast in the morning. No-Knead bread recipe rolled out simi flat then covered with brown sugar, cinnimon and chunks of real heart stopping up butter. Then preheat container, mine is Le Creuset, and spray w/ non stick. Geather up the edges and pinch togeather then geather up the whole thing and dump in the Le Creuset. Getting it all togeather and in the pot is the hardest part. Egg preheated to 450 dome and into the Egg for 25 min. covered. After 25 min. remove cover and coat top with beer and cook for 7 min. then recoat top with beer and cover for 5 min. Remove and set up on rack or forks in my case then cover with iceing made from powder sugar, 1 tbs vinillia extract and enough milk to liquify the concotion. A must try!! :woohoo:

So,how many beers does it take to make such a lowfat treat like that? :woohoo:

Took about 4 tonight but got to get up at 2:15 for work in the morning. Its all in respective!! The beer in the roll is just to keep it moist. Discovered that last night. No knead bread crust is very chewie and didn't want that for a roll like this.

That cinnamon bun looks great! Your VersEggtliity is Eggspanding RapidEggly. Your guests are blessed to enjoy the eggsafrice. -
Now THAT's a surprise...beer on a cinnamon roll? Gotta say the results look great, but wouldn't you use butter or something with a little less hoppy/malty flavor?
-
Well its got butter rolled inside it. Yes I'm sure butter would work on the outside but at the time I did not have any butter in my hand but I did have a porter beer in my hand.
Actually the strong brew gives it a slightly malt flavor. Don't use much. Probably 2 teaspoons each time. -
Thanks for the complements. This forum keeps pushing me to try something differant all the time!

Ahhh...that makes sense now. I had visions of you pouring half a Budweiser over the dang thing
