    Penzeys is about an hour away from our home, so each visit I try to make worthwhile (read: buy like mad!!!).

    The problem with 6 pound dog, is it jumps into your lap and turns around on the key board! Sending messages that are not ready to go! LOL This week on Ebay I won this Penzeys 14 Jar Grill and Broil Gift Crate. I stuffed chicken breast with plain cream cheese and wrapped in maple bacon. sprinkled with the Singapore seasoning.     The problem with two 85 pound velcro dogs is they they have learned to use their noses and considerable strength to lever my hands off the mouse and keyboard. Stealth attacks from under the desk. I never know when it's coming!

    They think all human hands are intended to pet them at all times.

    I wish I could accommodate.

    Congrats! That is very cool. Penzey's is about 2 hours away from me, so I stock up whenever there. Have ordered by mail and they always send free samples. :) Love Penzeys.

    LOL we had two deaf dalmatians, that we called my spotted hemroids. they were both rescues and 3 & 4 when we got them. wild and not house broken or trained at all. They could not be off leash when we first got them. they could run like the wind. the first one would chase a flash light beam for hours, so at night after dark we would take her out and let her off the leash and shine the light all over the yard to use up her energy.they turned into two of the best dogs. they learned about 20 hand signs and i miss those snouts pushing my hand around the key board. This one acts deaf, but does not miss a thing. LOL Julie

    I pass the Penzy's in Oak Park about twice a week, getting a place to park is impossible but in the next week or so I intend to make Pastrami so a stop there is neccesary.
    My wife and I have 5 rescue dogs, 1 English Pionter and 4 English Setters. One was our first an adoption, the others were foster dogs from Illinois Birddog Rescue that we decided to keep. We also had several dogs we fostered here adopted and we both feel very honored to help the cause.
    Looking foward to the Jan 23rd neeting of the "Chicagoeggers"

    penzeys web site is easy to use. fun to go to the store once and smell everthing, decide what you like and from then on just re-stock from the internet site. nice thing about penzeys is the stuff is available in small quantities so you always have fresh. dog.jpg
