Hidden Valley Ranch Wings

I made wings & pizza yesterday. I altered a recipe we used to fix when the kids were little. The wings were great.
I had about 25 wings washed & split. I melted one stick of butter and emptied one packet of Hidden Valley Ranch dressing powder in the butter and stirred until it was mixed. I then put the wings in a zip lock bag and covered with the mixture. I let them set up for 4 hours. (no magic it was all the time I had)
I got the fire ready (325 indirect with platesetter & drip pan). I placed the wings and let them cook for 20 minutes. I opened another dry pack and each time I rotated the wings(4x in all) I dusted them wth dry Hidden Valley Ranch powder. After 1 hour 20 minutes I put them on raised grill direct for 10+ minutes until the wings crisped up. They were great. Sorry no pics but I will definitely be doing this again....the other wings were lemon pepper..I really think these two are my best yet...

i wonder how that would work on chicken thighs?

I haven't done it on the BGE but it would work...you would just need to have more HVR powder..assuming you had a lot of thighs...
