My outlaws just gifted (or quite possibly re-gifted) me a half gallon of Maine Grade A Light Amber pure maple syrup.

The packaging looks fancy, but I know nothing about this.

Is it something that should be treasured and used on breakfast foods, or should I relegate this to a life of injection, mop, and marinade duties.

It is labeled Pure Maine Maple Syrup. It is from Maple Crest Farms in Buckfield, ME.

    Fidel,
Thats good syrup, boiled and bottled on the farm in Buckfield. Are you looking to re-gift?

Not looking to re-gift. I believe someone gave it to the outlaws and they re-gifted it to me.

They've never been anywhere north of Virginia.
  • It's pure gold, but that don't mean I wouldn't try injecting with it at least once.

My brutha "stickee" Pete wonce drizzled some on his man things..parently cordin to poppa he done thought the dog might be likin it a lot or somethin..i don't know if'n it worked for him none..but my mother done tole him that she aint gonna clean his undies no more on accounta they wuz always stuck together..somebody done finally sent him some peanut butter and some soft soap...i don't know which won worked for him, but momma washes his undies now...I don't let the dog lick my face no more none...I don't eat peanut butter no more when I is at home...and for wonce someone else is gittin yelled at for usin all the hot water up...

if'n it wuz me an I hadda half gallon of that stuff, I'd try injecting wonce...but save all the rest for breakfast...but that's just me...an I aint like otha folks.

I rememba my gramma on my mommas side, the won with the won tooth..she used to make us sum thin callt crapes..and we'd rollup them up with gobs of white sugar and brown sugar inside...and then drench them in syrup..we wuz too yung to git our shorts stuck togetha...but ifn we werent...well..we'd shorely not let gramma pass on without gettin that crape recipe like we done....
