Apparantly some know the URL of the new site...and after reading a hundred or so posts, I still can't find it. My email confirmation that I recieved won't link to it(errors). WMK is certainly busy and can't help/respond at this point. Does anybody know what it is? I want to try to register as a new member and see if maybe then I can get in. TIA.

    This sucks! When I tried to log on it said," username already in use". So I requested a password and it arrived. I tried logging on with that and it says" you are not registered yet, check your email". There is no email...stuck in limbo again. Someone send mass quantities of alchohol...PLEASE!!

    So Todd, did you get that new Stoker up and running yet?

    Santa brought me two new meat probes along with another blower and pit probe for Christmas. Now I can run all three of my Large Eggs and monitor the temps of six hunks of meat at the same time.

    I had all four eggs running with five large butts in one, a twenty lb. turkey in another, a ten lb. prime rib roast roast in the third, and the small roasted a bunch of butternut squash and then grean bean cassarole.

    I found that five butts ( about 9 lbs each) was pushing the limits of the Large BGE. I was using the adjustable rig which worked great, but over taxed the capacity of my drip pan, and had uneven airflow in the egg until later in the cook when the meat shrunk a bit.

    Big'un,[p]check your junk email and possibly deleted. [p]There were some problems as the new forum was hacked and some ISP's have blacklisted the greeneggers.net email source. [p]I don't remember seeing where bellsouth was listed as having problems - I am not using bellsouth so I wouldnt have paid attention to that.[p]

    Thanks, I already checked that and my emails are coming through fine. I'm of the opinion,at this point, that they aren't being sent. [p]I remember back when I used enjoy getting on the forum, I think it was in November.Haha. Oh well, I'm sure it will work out eventually. Like many others, I enjoy this forum and being on it. The last six weeks have really changed that for me, and several others that emailed me! Just when one difficulty clears, another presents itself. [p]hateful.jpg

    I'm having the same problem...it says " Check your email" but no email is there ..nothing ..nada ... not in "inbox", not in trash, not in junk...it just isn't there. Anybody have any idea how to login??

    Todd;[p]these things happen it will all clear up. i think the WMK is working hard to correct problems and hopefully he will be able to bring things back to normal. i know people do not like change but like everything else as soon as all the wrinkles come out i'm sure there will be people who will think how did we ever survive the old forum..[p]

Yesterday, I got the email within 10 or 15 seconds, followed the link and all seems to be working well.[p]There are some posts below where WMK responded to the same type questions.[p]I didn't read them as I did not that that problem.[p]Sorry there are a lot of posts to sort through but the topic/subject will be the same as yours and the response/solution, I would think, would be the same.[p]I think one post was from chubby.[p]Sorry I can't be of more help.[p]Kent

    Definately Kudos to WMK!!! No doubt he is working as fast as he can. This is HUGE undertaking and I understand that. In NO way was I detracting from his efforts. That individual, WMK, has allowed me to find and use this forum vehicle to talk, and to meet new friends that I truly care about. When this is done, we should organize and get him s*&t-faced on one afternoon to show our appreciation! [p]I'm just saying that in late Nov., I could easily log on and converse with all of my egging buds, cutting up and joking, having a good time and learning. I found/find that to be very relaxing for me; but with the advent(and hopefully departure) of some who chose to argue and fight, and now the additional difficulties of logging in and missing threads on the other forum, the "fun" has not returned...not yet. I'm sure this time next month, everything will be working great, and hopefully my disenchantment will be over.[p] help.jpg

    have you tried to login with the box at the upper right instead of the middle left of the page?[p]that worked for me last night. i got an confirmation email this morning and the link contained did not work properly until i changed the 'eggheadforum.net' to 'eggheadforum.com' for the link.[p]if all else fails... just stay here at the old, familiar forum till the dust settles. the strange thing for me to understand is i remember all this happening last year. seems the bugs haven't left, but have gotten bigger!

    Thanks Rick, I'll check that out. I do remember vaguely reading about that. But at that point I couldn't get to that stage. Since I'm at that stage now..maybe this is the best I've been broke yet! I hope Santa was good to you.
