Good Morning and Happy Thanksgiving to All! [p]From time to time I see people here on this forum asking questions about Big Green Egg's "Eggcessory" the Model GX "Grill Extender" so I decided to create a little pictorial showing a bunch of ways it can be used on the Egg. [p]The pictorial is on my web site on the "Recipes and Cooking" tab on the top menu bar. If you can't find it, email off list and I'll direct you or perhaps someone will post a link if they feel so inclined.
I think there are around 15 good pics there showing different setups. [p]Here's a teaser [p]
[p]re:TURKEY DAY ... I also have on the site a few different ways to do Turkey including my "Turkey in July" where I did Mad Max's Turkey on the Large as well as gravy, injection and brine recipes for your last-minute reference. [p]By the way, a number of people have phoned me asking how to setup the Egg for turkey ... or how I do it anyway ... so here ya go! [p]
Platesetter legs-up, 3 little ceramic feet, drip pan "suspended" on top of the feet, BGE Vrack in the drip pan et al. [p]
Hope everybody here on this forum has a very happy holiday! Here at the SmokinGP homestead in downtown Shillington Pa. we're doing Prime Rib Roast on the Large as we've been cooking/demo-ing/teaching how to cook Thanksgiving Turkeys at the store for the last 3 weeks and I've had my fill!
