Konrad,
nice looking table! What is the size of the table? and where did you buy it?
Thanks

Hammer,
It's a 30"x48" Gorilla Table from Sam's Club about $150.

JD McGee,
What was the diameter of the hole that was cut? Also did you have the hole cut; or did you do it? What did you use to cut it with?
Thanks again!

Konrad,[p]I have a very similar table from Costco a couple years ago - less expensive (about $100) but that may have been timing. Mine didn't come with wheels (easy to add) and it too tall (easy to cut down) and I use it as a side table on the patio. I've thought about doing what you did but, as the others allude to, cutting stainless isn't a trivial task so I haven't attempted it - I'm interested in how you did it. Also, on my table the lower shelf, I think, is held by a screw that goes into a dimple in the leg - I suspect that I'd want to secure the shelf better if I were going to rely on it to hold the weight of an Egg.

Konrad,
I've checked Sam's club, and the web site. Do you happen to have a product number for the one you bought. The web site and sams had no tables of that dimension, and no "gorilla" tables.
An exact name and product number from a recipt would be helpful.
Thanks in advance!

ugavet,

We drilled a pilot hole inside of the outer edge of the top hat channel the pictures shows it better than I can describe it. Then we used two jigsaws. I used a Ryobi 18V and when the battery died we used JD's Craftman. The Bosch 17-24 TPI metal blades from Home depot are just long enough. It was about 30 minutes to cut the hole, not that hard used used up 3 blades.[p]HTH,[p]Konrad
