chubby's gratemates + wise one' pecan + julie appledog's seasoning + turkey wings = yummy snack

i love doing turkey wingettes on my small with the gratemates indirect setup. ...they just really come out good. .. [p]simple to do. .. . turkey wings, ms. dog's new chipotle seasoning, butter mrs. dog's jerk sauce[p]IMG_1410.jpg[p]melted butter and brushed it on the wings, then a nice seasoning (not too much) of mrs. dog's new chipotle seasoning. ...DATS some GOOD STUFF!! . .and onto the small, warmed up to 325 dome temp with a chunk of pecan wood (thanks wise one!) and the gratemates set up indirect in the high grid position. .. [p]IMG_1413.jpg[p]turned them a couple of times for even cooking. .. .that pecan really gave them a nice . ..err. .pecan color .. .[p]IMG_1414.jpg[p]IMG_1415.jpg[p]IMG_1416.jpg[p]just before they were done, i brushed some of mrs dog's jerk marinade on three of them ....wanted some with, some without....my RTD photo :-)[p]

    thanks rick. ..yea, i was trying to use that sunlight like you my master!! . ..[p]those turkey parts are yummy .. . i really love those wingettes. .very meaty, and the smoke goes all the way through them. ..should have cut one open for a pic, cause the meat has this fantastic pink color to it. . ..
