Rental Smoker or XLBGE in Boston Area

Does anyone know of an Indirect Smoker or XL BGE for rent in the Boston (Framingham Area). A co-worker and myself want to cook some ribs and chicken for our Company Meeting in early November. We are both from Central Texas and the employees at our HQ in Boston give us the blamk look when we talk about indirect smoking and the things we cook. Would appreciate any information on the possibilites of renting there.

    Seems to me you could buy an extra large and the necessary stuff to cook a great meal and put it all on your expense report. I think I would wait until they ate and then submit the report.     Spring Chicken, That is our back-up plan :-) We don't think they will spring for a BGE though. Storage is a problem and theft is a possibility between the times we are in the N.E. so we want to explore the rental possibilites first. Truth is, both of us would love to cook dinner for all on a BGE. There is just nothing like it.

    Try a catering outfit to rent a smoker or grill. You might find the nearest BGE Dealer and ask to use one for your dinner. They usually have a show off egg for sales purposes. Good luck, Tom

    BajaTom, i second what BajaTom says. I have a Green Egg store and I have several eggs that I loan out at times, however I am picky as who I loan them to. If the dealer is any good at all he will have a demo unit and if you tell him what is going on he might help you out. If you were doing it in Omaha NE I would do it for you, just depends on the situation.
