Egg names..

When we got our XL, my wife suggested we call it eggbert. We later got a small and it's wilamena. Our grown kids think we're ready for the "home". But I think I've seen the odd reference to others calling their egg by name since. So who else does this and what have you called your egg(s)? Or are the kids right?

[p]Then came my two large eggs Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dum[p]Then a great sadness struck North Carolina. The spouse of TNW (yes the one who drops cell phones) informed TNW he HAD to sell one of his Small eggs. A fierce round of bidding occured. He managed to best my best bid by one penny. This Ms Penny came to be.[p]

I find myself talking to them, like last night telling Giada to hurry up and get up to 300 so I could grill the veggies, since Rachael almost had the chicken done. Lots of fun! My large is Dimples. If I ever get a small, I think it'll be DJ (Dimples Jr.) My oven inside the house is Dorothy. The worms in our worm bin are simply "The Girls."[p]From the looks of the replies here, the home better be quite large in order to accommodate all of us (and our eggs).[p]:) Gwen

Smoke2much, Well, mine is the Green Jelly Bean. You know, we aren't the only eggs around. I use to have a Casita travel trailer, and still belong to their Club. Everyone there names their Eggs. If you've never seen one go to www.casitaclub.com. They have quite a following and are very passionate about their Eggs. By the way, there all white.

Rick's Tropical Delight,[p]how do we cook these elk tenderloin steaks?[p]The best way is dusted in flour and fried in butter until medium rare.[p]You can grill them, but cook them as rare as you can handle them. Many marinate them to hide the game flavor, but I never do. Maybe a soak in buttermilk for 20 minutes.[p]~thirdeye~ [p]
