Wangs

[p]Finally bought a rack and did some of them "wangs" yesterday. They were so good and started disappearing as I was taking a few pictures!! I sprinkled them nicely with PP's Poultry Magic and they took about an hour @ 350. Bought a "family" pack so they'll be more tomorrow! As you can tell, I'm still a "gasser" but everything I'm learnin' will soon be played in the "Major League"! 8 - ) [p]RascalComments

Rascal,
Dim sho' is some good lookin' wangs. Got a few of those racks myself. Luv em'

jake42, Thank you for the compliment! I think I understand the logic for hanging de legs but I had to do a bit of twistin' & turnin' to get the wangs to behave. On another note, my pix seem to be comin' 2 for the price of 1 lately. Guess I must be double-clicking somewhere too much (perhaps when I'm copying the HTML Tag in Photo Bucket)![p]Rascal

<p />jake42,

Lately I've started doings them direct on a raised grid at 350 dome. I take them to 190 internal and they are just like fried. -RP

Rascal,
They are great looking wings! As far as the photos go, as soon as you hilight the HTML tag on photobucket it automatically copies so there is no need to right click on photobucket. If you "paste" under your written post, that should complete the photo insertion. If you also paste the HTML into the "Optional Image URL:" I'm guessing that's what's causing the double prints. I always try to preview my message before posting because I was having the same trouble at first. Just remember, we'd rather see two photos of the same item than none at all!

AZRP, Now that's the picture of how to hang 'em I've been looking for! I knew it had to be floating out there in cyberspace somewhere! Mucho gracias![p]Rascal
-
Rascal,
It helps if all the right winged ones are on one side and the left winged one are on the other. Kind of like Sean Hannity and Stephanie Miller. -RP
-
Rascal, hey, that's a neat deal. Where can I buy a wing rack like that?
-
Rascal,[p]I guess I'm going to have to breakdown and get one of those things. Those look great.
-
Chuck/Tx, Lowe's has 'em here in Florida big time![p]Rascal

One more gadget that I just have to buy. Thanks guys

<p />AZRP,Good looking wings. might try that raised grid thing next time myself to get a little more crunch. I use that combo leg and wing rack to hold the leg quarters for my pulled chicken. Alot of recipes call for removing the skin after wards but I just chop that highly seasoned skin up and mix it in.
