Hatch Green Chilis

<p />Picked up 5lb. Hatch Green Chilies today. I'll roast them,peal and put in the freezer until Winter. Then I' make New Mexico Green Chili Stew in the Winter.

The skins can be left on the peppers are peeled when they are thawed.

Ross in Ventura,I would love to know what peppers you use and a recipe. We grow alot of peppers in our 15 earthboxes here in Sarasota,Florida including jalapeno, and habanero. We put cheese in them and bacon around them and cook them in our large BGE.

I froze mine before I vac sealed them - I've been told that they are easier because of the steam (between the meat and skin).
