Car Wash Mike,
You know its a shame One Shot wasn't there to document the whole thing in photo or video......but maybe its best to leave the legendary event to the imagination :>)

Don't even give it a second thought, do your frying in side. BGE = Roasting, Grilling, and smoking. Keep it to that and you will always enjoy your egg.[p]Pork Butt Mike
-
luis,
I understand about no frying, OTOH with all the folks who wok on the BGE aren't you using some oil in that wok?

<p />luis,

Stupid is as Stupid does. Allow me to introduce myself....I'm Stupid. Yes, NO! Yes, No! It can be done, but only with a very, very, very minimum of oil. please get very familiar with your Egg before trying what I did. There are certain folks on this Forum who shall never let me live it down. In fact, I can see the comments at my graveside rites... "You know. that Son-of-a-Gun shoulda died in that fire back in 04...tempting fate like that..." [p]That night was a very scary event. Rings boiled over...Flash fire. I was very fortunate to eat the attached meal.[p]Mike[p]

luis,
I did some ABT's one time just to see how they would turn out. I didn't add grease, just used the bacon grease. They turned out good but I wouldn't do it again. [p]
[p]No problem with fires.[p]Some things just aren't meant to be cooked on the Egg and some cooking methods are the same way.[p]Spring "Deep Deep Fried" Chicken

Lawn Ranger may be having second thoughts now that the minimum wage has gone up LOL. [p]Perhaps I should have left out "Opulent lifestyle with unbridled freedom and unlimited expense account" when defining my career goals on my resume.[p]We'll see Thursday, assuming he hasn't floated off.[p]Spring "Just Ducky" Chicken
