Need advice on ramp for egg (kind of long)

Ok, here is my thought. Loading and unloading eggs in my truck for comps is getting old (wait, I'm getting old, they're getting heavy). So I want to leave them in the nest and use a ramp to load/unload. Problem is they are top heavy and could tip over out of the truck in the nest. So, I am thinking about getting a 4 ft section on 3/4 in plywood about 2 ft wide. I would have the top hinged so it would go to 8 ft long. This piece would go on the side of the truck between the wall and the egg up against the back of the cab. I was thinking I might need a second 2 foot wide piece of plywood at the back to form an L shaped piece in the corner. [p]Anyway, I am looking for comments from the forum on this idea and if you think it is feasible or maybe I am making too complicated. I have a Nissan Titan and it has a rail all the way around I can tie into at any spot. The truck sits very high which makes the need for a longer ramp. [p]Thanks.
