Not Very Sexy .... But the Guava Grilled Chicken Breasts...

...with Shakin' the Tree sure was good tonight![p]I tossed my chunk of guava at around 300* dome temp and added the breasts 2-3 minutes later. They cooked direct for about 20-25 minutes until I had an internal temp. of about 165-170*. The dome got up to around 400* along the way which contributed nicely to the Char Crust that formed from the Tree rub.[p]Next door neighbors stopped over when they smelled old humpty doing his wonderful thing yet again. I think they had flashbacks from last night. Last night I cooked a whole beef tenderloin T-Rex style with a chunk of mesquite for all of us.[p]Aahhh.... Mesquite grilled beef tenderloin .... Guava grilled chicken breasts .... Life is good![p]fiver
