Temperature Gauge Calibration

edited November -0001 in EggHead Forum
Hi All,[p]Well, I had a chance to cook with my egg this past weekend and I loved it! I smoked some baby backs, grilled some steaks and smoked a pork butt and EVERYTHING turned out great (though the butt wasn't as smokey as I'd have liked). I was very happy with the results from the Egg's inaugural cooking. I'll be throuwing some more ribs on this weekend and I'll see how it does with burgers as well..[p]With all that said, I'm a bit frustrated with the company.. My first egg came in with a cracked lid which they promptly replaced. I also bough the "A" package when I purchased my egg. In that package I was supposed to receive the shelves, a bag of lump charcoal, the ash tool, fire starters, and a couple other items.. I got everything except the fire starters and the ash tool. I guess I'll just drop another $15 and go buy one.[p]The other problem I'm having is that the Temperature Gauge, while cool reads 100 degrees and the box did not have the calibration instructions in it. If anyone has access to these could you please post them here or scan and email them to me? I'd appreciate it!![p]Thanks for the help and LONG LIVE THE BGE!!!
~Big Daddy
