AZRP,[p]Darn...I did it again. For some reason I have this thing for calling them burnt tips. I think I will tatoo burnt ends on my forehead to remember...ugghhh!!!

Boxerpapa,[p]Those look delicious, you did a good job on 'em for sure. I haven't heard them called burnt tips for years. Maybe you have some old tyme barbecue blood in your veins....the terms tips, burnt tips, burnt ends, and brownies are all used to describe this wonderful treat. All mean the same thing, brisket heaven!![p]You go ahead and call them anything you want.[p]~thirdeye~[p]PS - for nostalgia sake, I'm going to update the BE page on my cookin' site to include those other nicknames.

Boxerpapa,[p]I'm originally from CA and you're right, they don't bbq. They just grill and call it bbq. Same thing here in WA.

SpokaneMan,[p]Yep...and in the Carolina's it's all about pork butt. In Texas it's all brisket. In California it's all about avocado(sp?) and brie cheese on the grill with a twist of lime and/or lemon.
