Tool Holder for the Large Egg

Hello,[p]Some day I want to build a table for my large egg. In the meantime I am using a nest with the egg mates tables. I am looking for a way to hang tools or even the grid from the egg when I put in charcoal. Any suggestions are appreciated. I do not have a close by wall to hang anything from.[p]Thanks.[p]Smoke Diver

    Smoke Diver,[p]The Egg Mates are drilled for 'S' hooks- I just hang my stuff (including grids) from them.[p]hth

    Smoke Diver,[p]I use my Weber gasser (and it's handy for holding the tank for my propane torch to light my eggs). Of course, there's got to be a cheaper option than this $400 setup, but if you already own a gasser, this is what you'll end up using it for now that you got the Egg.

    <p />Smoke Diver,[p]Since the Eggmates fold down, I think S hooks would be as good a bet as any for tools. You could do some custom bending to fit the square bar. As far as lifting and hanging the grate I make these gizmos a couple times a year out of leftover 1/4" stainless rod. I happen to have one extra on hand. You are welcome to it. E-mail your mailing address if you are interested.[p]Here is how they hold the grate. The BGE grates have two cross bars (instead of this Weber grate with only one) so I make the legs wide enough to fit outside of them.[p]ee65c3dd.jpg[p]345305b6.jpg[p]~thirdeye~
