Lots of Oklahoma Eggfest Pics (Part 2)

[p]We split up into four teams and played a scramble. The winning team this year was Chris, Andy, Lou & Jeff.
[p]We also gave gift baskets to the Pin Seeker Popsicle and the Big Hitter Lou West. Lou's smile says it all he dominates the field for the second year in a row. (I used to like the guy)
[p]Here are a couple pics from the Meet & Greet. The folks from Paragon and our host store Everything Barbeque enjoyed meeting all the Eggers Friday Night.
[p]Car Wash Mike, dhuffjr and his wife Angela relax in front of the store.
[p]Lowrodz and the Kansas crew didn't know what to think of all these crazy Okies.
[p]Look at that Popsicle smile. It's as if they know they are going to win the Grand Prize Large Egg...again! Eat your heart out Chubby!
[p]Tulsamurph does what every great dad should...pass the love of Egging on to his son Ben!
[p]Until this year, no egg has been dropped at an Oklahoma Eggfest. Our buddy JC-Eggbreaker "broke" that streak, but he made up for it by cooking some great food.
[p]Our first Egg School was a big success. Here is our buddy Chris Cook teaching a class on T-Rexing steaks.
[p]Phyllis & Jim serve up some biscuits and sausage to start the day.
[p]Todd, Kelly & Casey rocked all day long, but stopped for a photo.
[p]The Tunnells drove up from Ardmore to jump in the middle of the action.
[p]You gotta love those custom paint jobs!

Snoopy Dog Dog,
Great photos... Made me feel like I was 400 miles away because I wasn't in a single one of them LOL. Oh yea... I wasn't there for all the fun this year. [p]From what I could tell, everyone had big smiles, especially The Popsicle. That's a good sign that everyone had a great time. [p]Hopefully, we will be there next year.[p]Spring "Got Up Early To See Some Photos" Chicken

Snoopy Dog Dog, as always, great job. It truly shows how much you and others enjoy putting on the event. Also, very cool that demo eggs sold out by 11am. Give me a shout, if you cruise through Denton. T

Morning Snoopy Dog Dog:[p]Looks like another wonderful Oklahoma EggFest. We had some friend who moved to Norman a couple of weeks ago and have already told them to expect us next year (and for them to be ready for their first EggFest). I saw on one of the other posts it looks like April 19/20, 2008 and we will be there! [p]Next up for us is Waldorf, see you there.[p]Have a GREAT day!

SSN686,
April 19th was the day of the Oklahoma City Federal building bombing.[p]Angela and I visited the memorial Friday as we hit town. It is a sobering lump in your throat site. Especially all those "little" chairs and the teddy bears on them. We were surprised at the number of items on the chairs until I realized I was there on the 20th.[p]H

<p />dhuffjr,[p]A very well done memorial. Hopefully a day will come when we don't have to build things like that.[p]Chris

Snoopy Dog Dog,
Is the OKC Egg Feast going to be at the same place in 2008?
-
Chiefrat,[p]We always take notes from year to year and try to improve our event. I was really pleased with just about everything (the proximity to the hotel, next door to the dealer, etc.) and think it would be a good location for the future. We'll look at all the options as they unfold and make that decision early next year. There are many X-factors (city closing the street, cooperation of other shops in the strip mall, etc.) that must be considered.[p]Chris
