Need a Couple Dimensions for a Large Egg

I'm buying a demo egg this weekend and need to get it home. I like the plywood and 2x4 carrier that I've seen pictures of (was it Grillmeister maybe?) but I think the dimensions for it were for a small.[p]Can a large egg owner tell me the outside diameter of the egg about an inch or so below the bottom band (where the ceramic is back to normal shape) and then also tell me the height from the bottom up to that first measurement?[p]Any help would be appreciated.[p]Bruce

Big Daddy - OCT,[p]Large BGE Transport[p]two 2'X 2' pieces of heavy duty plywood (1/2" to 3/4") one of them gets the 21" diameter hole.
Four 1' long 2x4's. Use 3" deck screws to screw it together, 3 in each end of each 2x4. Also add some gorilla glue. Alternate which way the 2x4's are turned at each corner so they are not perpendicular. About $12 or less total cost.[p]This design and photo is courtesy of Grillmeister. It can also be used to hold the lid while you scrape of the old fried gasket and apply the new one.[p]

    Big Daddy - OCT,
Can a large egg owner tell me the outside diameter of the egg about an inch or so below the bottom band (where the ceramic is back to normal shape) and then also tell me the height from the bottom up to that first measurement?[p]i measured up 16.25 inches from the base (outside measurement) to just below the lip of the egg where the ceramic is back to normal shape. at that point the circumference is 64.5 inches giving an outside diameter of 20.54 inches. make your hole slightly larger.
