Long weekend barbecue

It’s a long weekend here in WA, the skies are blue and maximum temps are around 25c so it’s a perfect time to fire up the egg. On the menu - scallops in the shell, prawn skewers, dry aged steaks, lime dessert cake thing 😄 it was a learning experience controlling the temperature of the egg as the scallops and prawns were cooked before I reverse seared the steaks, and they required more heat so after they were done in order to lower the temperature I closed the vents to suffocate the fire and when it was at temperature slowly introduced some air. It worked out well 👍 as usual after a big feast I fell asleep on the couch… (photos in random order)
