What a feast, as is your style. I don’t know how you prepare quite so many amazing dishes for your family get togethers!
Said it before and I’ll say it again…. Adopt me!! -
@WestAusEgg Thanks. Belated welcome to the forum, your toys and cooks right out of the gate are impressive!

@GrateEggspectations Thanks. There's method to the madness - noodles, pork belly and ribs (all good reheat candidates) were cooked the day before; many ingredients for other dishes were also prepared ahead of time. Sorry, our dinner table is already too congested!

Always a true top-shelf banquet when you and your better half roll in. What an impressive spread across so many different mains.
Uma has been submerged for too long!!

What is that salmon sauce @Canugghead?South of Columbus, Ohio.
-
@alaskanassasin
Toppings: Chopped fresh garlic, ginger, preserved black beans, green onion, soy sauce. Fresh chili optional. Lightly stir fry in oil and set aside.
Cut slits on thick part of salmon, spread cooked toppings over it and steam on medium heat for 15-20 min depending on thickness. Check IT with Thermapen, do not overcook. Use shallow dish for even steaming.
I know caliking does something similar in IP. IIRC, Botch posted not too long ago about preserved black beans, very versatile ingredient.canuckland -
