I need to replace mine after many, many years. What is everybody using - what would you suggest? As I recall, at one point in time, there were some short stem options, not sure if they're still an option.

BGE sells Tel-Tru analog thermos. They are very accurate. I would replace with one of those.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

Have the new larger Egg Tel-Tru on 4 of my Eggs and very happy with them.

Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given another Mini to add to the herd. -
I had a run of failures on my dome thermos. @johnmitchell saved me a while back. Good man, there.

the Smokeware on this BGE has proven rock-solid time and time again.JJ Abrams lens flare FTW!

I have had all manner of thermometers - I’ve settled on the Tel-Tru. Preferably the large faced ones. I have a cool tie-dye colored one but can’t recall the actual seller.
I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.
