Just learned from the Waveform Podcast today that Apple TV (the web service) just bought up exclusive rights to all F1 broadcasts, for the next five years, beginning in '26. They've already bought up exclusive rights to all soccer games (MLS), and are working towards buying up the NHL.
Getting his name inscribed on a brick in the upcoming Epstein Ballroom on the new east wing of the White House Palace is costing Tim Apple a pretty penny, so let's all help him out, mmmkay?
As of now I use an Apple TV (the device) and have a service including Apple Music, and Apple TV (the movie/series service). That gets canceled tomorrow (I'm quite happy with Tidal for music, and haven't really watched the TV/movie offerings at all)."First method of estimating the intelligence of a ruler is to look at the men he has around him."

The starting grid for Sunday's race with some commentary (not mine):
Lando Norris took the 14th pole position of his Formula 1 career in qualifying for the Mexican Grand Prix.
That was an important result for the McLaren driver and his 2025 F1 title ambitions, as he lapped almost six tenths faster than team-mate and championship leader Oscar Piastri in the Q3 pole position shootout session.
Piastri was only eighth-fastest with his attempt, though he will start seventh owing to a grid penalty for Carlos Sainz carried over from last weekend's United States GP.
Norris's nearest challengers in Q3 were the Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton - who secured his first top-three starting spot for a grand prix since joining the Scuderia for 2025.
Title outsider Max Verstappen will start fifth, sharing the third row of the grid with Kimi Antonelli.
Sainz was seventh in Q3 but his five-place grid drop means he will line up in 12th.
