First game I'm watching this season, and it's my alma mater ISU Cyclones, and the Kansas State whatevers.  They played hours ago in Dublin, Ireland; the stadium was sold-out, and looking at the crowds they're maybe 3/4ths fans from the US (school colors).
When I attended college we'd pool our dollars together to see if we could squeeze 6 or 7 of us into an old car and have enough gas money to drive from Ames to Iowa City for a game; nowadays folks fly to Europe because the Taylor Swift tix were cheaper... f me.

I live four miles from our stadium and don’t wanna go watch games in person I certainly wouldn’t fly to see one. Food is better, bathrooms are cleaner, and the beer is cheaper at home. Also I kinda hate A&M a lil bit… in five years here I have been to two games one to watch the Gators kick A&Ms a$$ and to watch a really close match with LSU.

There are American college football fans in Europe. I had a guy hug me in Bologna, Italy because I had a Clemson hat on. I wouldn't be surprised if there were a lot of locals in team colors.

I went to almost all home games over 20 years.

    Thanks.

Benedet, Offensive Line, #79.  He was undrafted free agent out of university last year and spent the year injured. This year he piled into pre-season with everything he had and was playing LT for most of the pre-season games. Kind of upset things for last years status quo on the offense. The new Bears coach is looking to shake things up and evaluate on current performance, not history with the team.

Keep in mind the number of military families in Europe that will take advantage of seeing a game.
Salado TX & 30A  FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.

Surprised to see my alma mater, Iowa State (30,000 students), playing U of South Dakota, (8,000 students).  USD isn't doing too well...  Guess I need to review the various conferences, things have changed.

Not the best pic, but we are adjacent to the airport and in the line for the game day flyovers. We see some amazing machines!

Hmm, I did a search on "2025 American Football", not "American Football 25-26"... so much for AI...

Well that Vikings newbie quarterback had a good night. 27 to 24 is a good game.

still liking that 79 yd return by Chicago.  But the Vikings dominated that 2nd half.

That was one ugly game for the Vikings besides the 4th quarter. The Vikes couldn't get the run game going which didn't help out McCarthy any.

I was just listening to the local Vikings radio show and they interviewed one of the Vikings players and he mentioned that JJ McCarthy during one of their huddles when the game was almost out of hand says, "Where else would anybody want to be right now?" For only being 22 years I've only heard good things about the kid and he knows how to lead in the locker room. It's only one game but I'll take any glimmer of hope with this organization. Plus it doesn't hurt being coached by a QB head coach.

    AF over Wyoming; good game.
I noticed that both the team, and the cheerleaders/staff, were wearing Space Force uniforms, not sure why?  Does the Navy team occasionally wear USMC-styled uniforms?  (both the Space Force and the USMC are full-seated Departments on the JCS, but too small to have their own college FB teams (although a 100% USMC football team could be highly competitive, not so much a bunch of physicists and scope-dopes from USSF).

@Botch- the USMC is a member of the Department of the Navy and is represented on the Joint Staff by the Chief of Naval Operations.  The Commandant does not have a seat at the JCS table.

Wow, too many dead brain-cells; I thought he did...

Does the Annapolis team ever don USMC uniforms?
