What's the latest on metal tables?

Hi All,
The metal table threads I found were a few years old so I thought I'd get a new one going. I built a cedar table a few years ago and it's been nice but the Texas weather is taking it's toll. There's some rot and I think I'd like to switch to a metal table. I'm aware of the BGE modular system, the BGE farmhouse table, the Challengers designs models and Tspud's stainless tables.
Are there other options I'm missing? Anyone want to weigh in on the options listed above and tell me what you like and don't like?
Looks wise, I probably like the Challenger Torch 54 the best - the price is...expensive, even in the BGE world. I am concerned about the top scratching over time from plates and such sliding over it. Kinda the same concern I have for an all stainless steel table as well - seems like the top would look unsightly from scratches on the top. Maybe I'm overthinking it though. Thoughts?

Get a stainless table from TSpud. I remember posts about bug spray removing the finish from challenger carts. I’ve been using a TSpud cart for 7 years and it’s legit.

Another very satisfied TSpud customer here. His tables are awesome.NOLA -
I got a Challenger Spark 48 Table nine years ago and am still happy with it. Have had no problems with the finish. I keep it covered when not in use. Before the Spark 48 I had a BGE long wood table that rotted over five years.

Here’s the post about the Challenger

I just assembled one of these on the weekend. I was impressed for the price. You can skip installing the shelf inside the cabinet and it gives you room for a full bag of charcoal. The accessory rail across the front hangs from a couple of pegs. I’ve knocked it off twice already - I’ll have to investigate how to secure it better. I’m happy with everything else so far.

Likewise, my 11-year-old Challenger Torch 48 shows no signs of wear whatever. I got the fold-down leaf and that makes it absolutely perfect IMHO.SmokinGolfer said:I got a Challenger Spark 48 Table nine years ago and am still happy with it. Have had no problems with the finish. 8 years on my tspud table. Moved it across the country 3 years ago with the egg internals packed with cardboard and a moving blanket dome strapped down, then shrink wrapped.Never had it covered 5 years in the desert ow 3 in Georgia, same as the day I bought it,, solid.
