Cranking out around 8 lbs of chix wings for the local small staffed firehouse. Homefront, some Texas Twinkies and TBD.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. The wife wants BBQ thighs with skin but I enjoy longer cooks so we will see how long before she wins the battle…

Thanks, hybrid comp and backyard. No injection, bone or skin so simpler in that regard, but borrow in a pan, broth, butter, smoked, braised, then glazed and set on the grill to finish for a tender pulled chicken recipelousubcap said:Sweet lookin' chix right there. -

Weather played nice-so wings for the firehouse on the S-M grill. (Non compliance with the thread title)

60 of 'em. Dusted with Jamaican Firewalk (Dizzy Dust). No sauce-delivered with Ranch, Bleu Cheese and a spicy Q sauce.

Just Vote- What if you could choose "none of the above" on an election ballot? Millions of Americans do just that, in effect, by not voting. The result in 2016: "Nobody" won more counties, more states, and more electoral votes than either candidate for president. -
Wings and a couple racks of SRF spares. Popped the wings under the broiler for a couple minutes each side to crisp the skin

Good evening! I’ve been a member for 12 years but haven’t posted in a while. Have a fairly loaded XL and a small. Tri tip was reverse seared on the XL

flank steak, chicken thighs, mushrooms, spam burnt ends -
@Buckwoody Egger - Eating well right there. Spam burnt ends are supposed to be secret.

They are great and you nailed the entire cook. 🇺🇸Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -
thanks cap!
the mushrooms were BOGO and hadn’t done in a while. soy sauce, butter pats and garlic powder. in a small disposable loaf pan. foil the top and cook at whatever temp the rest of the grill needs.
similar approach works for other bags of frozen veggies like mixed veg or gumbo mix. just drop the soy and pick a seasoning.
based on schedules i was solo cook for the hot stuff and didn’t want to have stove inside and egg going at the same time.
