4 racks of ribs on Large?

I’m looking at trying to cook 4 rack of ribs on my large at one time. Is it even possible? I usually do Malcom reeds method and wrap around a 2-2-1. I figure at best I can do 3 racks vertically and pick up a eggspander kit this weekend and cook the 4th up top? Any one ever do this?

Wrap them concentrically in a big ol' circle. Sorry I don't have a pix.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time

I’ve done two (or maybe it was even three) on a MiniMax. Eminently doable. You just have to get more creative with placement.

This is the way.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -
The skewered technique de-pic-ted above should work well, as should the ring method - either arranged in a swirl pattern, or bend each rack in a circle, and run a skewer through each to hold its shape. If you have a two-level setup, you could do two racks per level. Switch around the racks for even cooking. Easy to make a second level grid if you don't have one (Weber grid, carriage bolts, washers, nuts).#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX.

The easiest way to a second level is to pound three aluminum canned beers and use the empties as support for a second grid. FWIW-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood.
