Daughter is going to Ft Worth in the next few months. I’d really appreciate suggestions on steak houses and BBQ places that she really needs to check out while there. THANK Y’ALL!!!

    Goldee's in Fort Worth is rated #1 in the latest Texas Monthly rankings.  
    Also check out Hutchins BBQ (home of Texas Twinkies) in McKinney.  
    Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

    Not restaurants, but have a few tourist places to check out.

    The US Bureau of Engraving and Printing on the north side of town.  Free self guided tour--you're on a catwalk above all the automated machines.  Absolutely fascinating tour.

    The fountain garden downtown are really cool as well.

    And the Stockyards of course.
