    +1.

This issue has vexed many over the years.  The new band (with the tabs around the dome) fixes the issue, but I don't remember if its compatible with the old Nest.

RRP should be along to help you out. There are many YT videos, too. If smoke doesn't leak when you cook, then I wouldn't worry about it.

The DudeThis is a very complicated case, Maude. You know, a lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what-have-you's. And, uh, lotta strands to keep in my head, man. Lotta strands in old Duder's head. Luckily I'm adhering to a pretty strict, uh, drug regimen to keep my mind, you know, limber.

Walter SobchakNihilists! *uck me. I mean, say what you want about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it's an ethos.

Thanks for the kind words, but I think there is some confusion. I don't recall ever solving anyone's underbite nor overbite other than to say your old hinge is the problem and/or if either bite wasn't much then forget about it and using a Rutland would withstand any burn stress from the over/under lap from the bites.

But where I jumped in with was how I solved the issue of putting a new band on an old egg that corporate essentially said couldn't be done. Of course I got flamed by Pete but so what else was new? LOL and I persisted anyway. Here's that link:
