Can anyone help with Pre 2008 Egg

Hey all,
it’s been well over a decade since I’ve been in the game but I just bought a used pre 2008 Large egg with nest off of Marketplace. Since I had to unload it alone, I removed the hinge so I can unload the lid and body separately. Now I can’t get the hinge back on. It seems like the holes are not wide enough. I e been searching online for an old manual but I only get the manual with the newer hinge design. Can anyone provide advice on how to get this back on?

    Answer ✓
    Loosen the nuts on the band bolts then they will slip on. Just remember to tighten them back before ever lifting the dome!
