Best pans for minimax???

If you are in Texas grab one of these from HEB. Great for everything from queso to stuffed salmon.

  • Looks great.

I have a few pans and whatnot that I use expressly on the MM, as the 13” grid leaves little wiggle room. But the challenge of fitting in tight spaces can be its own fun endeavour.
  • If you haven’t tried it, removing the grid and resting a trivet on the plate setter can give you a lot of room for a Dutch oven. Following the advice of some members here, I hacked the handles off to make for a great fit. Also have a rib rack that fits handsomely.

@BeanHead - recently surfaced, and already helping spend people's money. You'll fit in quite well here

Where in TX are you, btw?

Man I sure wish we had HEB in New England. But I’m flying out to S TX today for the Houston Livestock, Rodeo and BBQ Championships, so will be making a few runs to my fav market!

College Station, so I also have easy access to the on campus meat lab and the Slovachecks “factory” in Snook both of which are worth visiting if you haven't been.

I need to play with the trivet on the plate setter. I have an xl as well so I haven't needed to sacrifice any handles. Yet.

Oooh. Have fun. If you can find one near you go to one of their Central Market stores. The meat and veg quality there is off the charts. In the reg HEB go to the healthy living section for the spices you can buy by the ounce. They have a smoked post oak rub that is amazing on everything and I’m never a fan of premade blends.
