Some things I have not tried but want to, egg rolls and or fried fritters dipped in gravy for apps or big fried fritters dropped into a soup/stew

you can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it
  • Maybe turkey chile verde. But more likely sandwiches with toasted bread, turkey, barbecue sauce, and cheese microwaved just enough to melt the cheese.

Cranberry relish. I grow cranberries, they are very sweet right now.  Mix relish and soft goat cheese and wrap in a crescent roll and bake, spread it on a toasted french bread. Serve it on a triscuit and top with hot pepper jelley. Roll the goat cheese in the relish and serve on a meat and cheese board with cracker, serve the relish with some low and slow duck😁

  • We always have plenty of turkey since it's just the two of us and have done a bunch of stuff over the years. Turkey pot pie was always what I looked forward to until my wife started making a turkey wild rice soup that I now look forward to almost as much as our traditional Thanksgiving fare.

Start with giving some stuffing the waffle treatment, then layer/build as you like. Make sure it includes a runny fried egg, and gravy.

What I can’t give away, I freeze a portion for turkey chili and the rest keep for a few days for sandwiches.
