Probably safer to just drop your chicken thighs into the pot of boiling water for a few minutes, rather than pouring boiling water everywhereNOLA

Chicken thighs wouldn't fit in my tea kettle.buzd504 said:Probably safer to just drop your chicken thighs into the pot of boiling water for a few minutes, rather than pouring boiling water everywhere“Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.” ― Philip K. Diçk -
Haven't tried but we do a lot of bone in thighs so i'll give it a go!

I have done this and it works well. I but the chicken thighs in a colander and poor boiling water over them. All the subcutaneous fat runs out and the skin begins to shrink up. Thighs do come out crispy, but the skin pulls off super easy this way, so it works best if limit flipping and make sure skin doesn't stick to grill grates.
I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.
