I said to my wife, 'Where do you want to go for our anniversary?' She said, 'I want to go somewhere I've never been before.' I said, 'Try the kitchen.'

Throw them on your grill, spray with Pam or Duckfat, and cook on them. Easy peasy. Brush them with a wet brush when done, and they are clean and ready to cook again! -
I used the onion trick. Cut an onion in half, get the grates hot, and wipe the onion over the grates. You can feel the chemical reaction. Something in the onion adheres to the grill grate and makes it non stick.

BTW just today I used my "Billy Bar" to scrape "metal on metal" to clean off both my Small and Large grates and then wiped them down with a paper towel.RRP said:Dumb *ss me didn't know we had to season those!Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time -
After a couple cooks, the steak no longer sticks. This was a ribeye on the Napoleon gasser. Have a set on my PK360 also, but both are seasoned and don’t stick to beef or chicken.

They're hard anodized thus the aluminum has a tough/smooth oxide coating. I don't think they really need "seasoning" but if some folks find that helps them that's cool.

Thanks for this. I received mine in the mail a week ago and haven’t had a chance to use them yet. Very soon tho.
