My love/hate of the Meater+

Doing a brisket point today and pulled out the Meater+. Dang thing is connected to my phone but the app won’t connect. This isn’t the first time this has happened. So…I’m back to using the older ThermPro for IT measurements.
No clue why this thing is so finicky but it is irritating for sure.
And yes, it’s charged, relay box is close and I’m only 15’ away.
Glad I have daytime adult beverages within reach.
Ok, end of rant. Enjoy the long weekend in the World’s best country!

That is strange. I have never had that issue. I only connect via Bluetooth though.

check your batteries in the meater wooden box? Maybe talk to their CS. I don’t have any experience with them but have heard they are good people.Large and Small BGECentral, IL

Yep I replaced the aaa battery as well. Funny enough it was low but still had 1/2 charge per the app.Ah well I’ll just deal with it for todays cook (brisket point). Then I’m off to MX for a week so none of this will bother me 🤣LBGE, 28” BS, Weber Kettle, HCI 7.8 SE Texas
