What do you all think. Should I buy my Thanksgiving turkey now? It might be 2-3x price by the end of the month or not available at all. I just learned I'm doing Thanksgiving this year.

You'll only get it cheaper *after* thanksgiving.....yes. Buy it frozen.

There probably won't be any left by then. Your advice is best though for Christmas decoration purchases.

I agree. Buy now. Better to pay a little too much now than to have to serve hotdogs on Thanksgiving.

It's going to be like TP. Maybe I should fill the freezer. Thing is I'm only into turkey about one time a year

Not related to turkey but with all this talk, I stopped by ALDI and picked up a ham for thanksgiving since I’m in charge of the meat.
Side note our local ALDI had butterball turkeys for .87 cents per pound as of today.LBGE

those hams at aldis are about as good as it gets for an everyday supermarket ham, as good if not better than cooks or corandos hams

I was pleasantly surprised how good they are! Especially when they are on sale.

on the flip side of these remarks since my SIL has us over for her oven bagged bird. Then we have them for Christmas for a traditional ham that I egg. Many years ago I surprised them with a prime ribeye roast, but that $130 roast didn’t float the boat as they wanted overcooked (ruined) beef and we wanted rare…
So back to ham… any ham price and availability predictions for Christmas, 2021?

16 pound cat on a 14 pound ham. $99 for the ham (thanks, Biden). Much less than vet bill for one Bengal fight.
Ham does come with bonus knife and stand...
