My second eggfest

Participated in my second eggfest this year and yes it was as fun as the first.
I made peanut butter apple cobbler, my take on the ultimate appetizer, bbq jalapeno cheddar venison meatballs and portobello mushrooms stuffed with sun-dried tomatoe pesto and parmason covered in mozzarella.
My wife cooked with me this year and had a great time, said she would do it again. Did not get to many pictures was a busy seven hours.
This is where we cooked

I was next to the meadow creek rep. He was cooking ribs and chicken

As Eggers started to arrive

Then the gates opened and we got busy

That's a sizeable crowd for an eggfest. And a lot of cooks, too. Looks like a grand event!

I cooked at the Eggfest at the Meadow Creek HQ in New Holland, PA this past weekend (my 5th or 6th year cooking). I made Citrus Smoked Salmon, Corn on the cob with ancho chili & lime juice and sous vide beef tenderloin. It was very busy, but had a great time!

I almost went to this fest many years ago, to pick up a stainless steel egg table. I recall Amish folks were making amazing bread in the egg.canuckland
