Granite Top for BGE Acacia Table?

Has anyone put granite over their BGE Acacia Hardwood Table for their large egg? Curious to hear if anyone has any thoughts on this? What about the weight of the granite?

The legs would support the weight fine. Might need to upgrade the wheels. If the table "racks" when it's pushed you might want to add some corner gussets to stiffen it up.

Granite on cypress here and I love it compared to the old wooden top with a granite insert.The problem with a problem is that you don't know it's a problem until it's a problem, and that is a big problem.

Definitely go with some 5” wheels. I just sold my 6’ table with a concrete top that was about 1”thick but it was on cypress. I had had it for about 6 years with no problem. Had the top stained as well.
