I dropped my fire ring and it broke in half. A new one is 108 bucks. Is it ok to cook on JB Weld? I see no need to spend the money if it is ok to cook on. Thanks

While I have already agreed that there is no need to even try to put that back together since it is fine to use in 2, 3 or 4 pieces I was stunned, dumbfounded, mystified that BGE is now charging $108 for a fire ring! Are you in Canada? Or was the $108 quote based on wanting it shipped to you immediately? Most times a GOOD dealer will just tack replacement parts on to his next order from BGE which saves you a bundle by not paying for shipping. Granted you may have to wait a while.
