OT - Recommended Nonstick Saute` Pan?

SWMBO mentioned last night that it might be time for us to get a new pan. She was referring to our large 5qt square-sided nonstick saute pan with a glass lid.
I see an opportunity to upgrade up and over the "wedding registry quality" we currently have and get a decent piece, but there's no way she's going to go for some extra-expensive brand. This is for indoor use only - not going on the BGE.
So, what do you recommend I start looking at? TIA

I've used Calphalon nonstick pans for several years and am pleased with their performance and durability.Large Egg, PGS A40 gasser.

Scanpan.(Note: their direct website is currently being blocked by malwarebytes for having a trojan, so don't go there. Sur la table has them if you want to browse: https://www.surlatable.com/products/cookware/brands/scanpan/)If you want to go cheaper, I have been really pleased with inexpensive ceramic coated pans.

All Clad nonstick. Not pricey if you can find a holiday sale at Sur La Table or Williams Sonoma.LBGE St. Louis MO

When it comes to non stick I just go middle of the road and replacing every couple of years. We only use non stick for eggs and everything else goes in the All-Clad stainless. If you get the stainless hot before adding your oil it is virtually non stick anyway. On the non stick I’ve read that it cause premature death of the coating if you use it above medium heat.-----------------------------------------analyze adapt overcome2008 -Large BGE. 2013- Small BGE and 2015 - Mini. All Clad. Just replaced our old non-stick All Clad after 17 years with a new one and expect this one to make it that long for sure.

tfal still makes the 5 quart square with glass lid, i think granite and or ceramic. i dont really see a need for a large nonstick saute pan, i use cast iron enameled or not

Henckels non-stick. 3 piece set at Costco, $60. Have had a set for a year, just bought another set since they're on sale again. First set still performs as new. Never used high heat nor nonstick spray, only oils or butter, not a mark on any of the pans.

We have Anolon. Not terribly impressed. Whatever you do, don't use a metal stick blender in them...

I have a Tramontina professional non stick pan that I use for eggs. It’s solid and was cheap~ John - Formerly known as ColtsFan - https://www.instagram.com/hoosier_egger

I am old school. My non-stick is carbon steel and cast iron with a good layer of seasoning. All I need.

This. Heat the pan, smidge of butter, and eggs will slide right out. All-Clad stainless is practically indestructible in the kitchen.Mattman3969 said:If you get the stainless hot before adding your oil it is virtually non stick anyway.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -
I concur. I have no issues with the D5 and eggs. BUT I have a wife that doesn’t understand preheating a pan and adding fat. So the single Nonstick pan in the cabinet was a must for her/uscaliking said:

I bought a 3 piece set of Scanpan, probably a year or so ago.buzd504 said:Scanpan.(Note: their direct website is currently being blocked by malwarebytes for having a trojan, so don't go there. They are "OK"...not great.
The issue is uneven heat distribution in the larger pan. Def. a cooler/hotter area issue.
Also, the first set, the big pan had a convex hump in the middle. Returned the set to Sur La Table for an exchange.
Wouldn't buy again. I'd go back to All Clad.Philly - Kansas City - Houston - Cincinnati - Dallas - Houston - Memphis - Austin - Chicago - Austin
